Towards secure data transfer in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), various approaches are recommended in literature. The methods utilize the factors of energy, transmission rate, and throughput towards secure transmission. Still, they tend to produce least secure transmission performance. This article focused on improving the QoS performance of WSN by adapting secure transmission as well as access restriction with blockchain security. In this way, a Selective Transmission Model‐Based Blockchain security model (STMBSM) is presented. The method enforces access restriction with various trust measures computed according to transmission, tampering, and transmission support. Also, the method applies selective transmission mode, which chooses additional hops for the verification of successful transmission. The selective node would verify the successful transmission and would initiate transmission from another intermediate node even there is a malicious node. The selection of node is performed by computing selective transmission trust (STS). Also, the method adapts blockchain security at the data level using Active Inclination Model. The proposed method improves the performance of data security as well as QoS performance.
