AbstractPurpose: The external ear is a significant contributor to facial aesthetics and identity.Anthropometric data of the ear are essential for clinical, forensic, and industrial applications. This study aims to provide comprehensive anthropometric data for the external ear in theGujrat population, focusing on sexual dimorphism and age-related variations.Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted on 500 healthy individuals(250 males, 250 females) aged 11–60 years, belonging to the Gujrat population. Nineanthropometric parameters of the external ear were measured using digital Vernier calipersand a measuring tape. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 25, with statistical significanceset at p < 0.05.Results: Males exhibited significantly larger ear dimensions compared to females in mostparameters, including ear length, breadth, and lobule width. Age-related increases in eardimensions were observed, with the highest correlation between left and right earmeasurements. Sexual dimorphism was statistically significant for ear length, breadth, andlobule width. Conclusion: This study provides normative anthropometric data for the Gujrat population, highlighting sexual dimorphism and age-related changes. These findings are valuable forotoplastic surgery, forensic identification, and industrial design.
