Plastic waste is one of the environmental problems that requires community involvement in its management. This community service activity aims to empower the community through a plastic waste bank program as an effort to encourage sustainable waste management in Itterung Village, Tellu Siattinge District, Bone Regency. The activity was carried out from August 3 to September 10, 2026, through several stages, namely observation, socialization, education on waste sorting, collection of plastic waste, weighing and recording, and evaluation. The implementation of the program involved the community as the main actors in sorting and collecting plastic waste that still has economic value. The results of the activity showed that the plastic waste bank program provided an opportunity for the community to increase awareness of waste sorting and environmental cleanliness. In addition, the program introduced the concept that plastic waste can be managed and utilized to provide economic value. Community participation is an important factor in maintaining the sustainability of the program. Therefore, the plastic waste bank program can be developed as a community-based waste management strategy through continuous participation, waste sorting habits, and cooperation between the community, village government, and relevant stakeholders.
