This service evaluation examined the impact of individual Life Story Book (LSB) sessions on mood and quality of life (QoL) in people living with Huntington’s disease requiring a period of specialist inpatient care. A within-subject pre-post design was used with three participants. LSB sessions were associated with reductions in self-reported depressive symptoms and improvements in QoL. Findings suggest LSB sessions within this service are feasible within a specialist inpatient setting and potentially beneficial; however, conclusions are limited by small sample size and lack of control group.
