Four new angular-type pyranocoumarin glycosides, named praeroside II ( 1 ) praeroside III ( 2 ), praeroside IV ( 3 ), and praeroside V ( 4 ), were isolated from the n -butanol extracts of the crude drug, “Bai-Hua Qian-Hu”, the root of Peucedanum praeruptorum Dunn. (Umbelliferae). By the spectroscopic analysis and chemical studies, the structures of these newly isolated compounds were formulated as 1 , 2 , 3 , and 4 , respectively.
