FESS >< FCLS >< FHESS — RESEARCH NOTE 27 Endological Inquiryₒ — Beyond Dialogue, Towards Independent Epistemic Reference and Open Scientific Questions Research framework: FESS — Field Endometaphysical Science Series; FCLS — Field Criminal Law Series; FHESS — Field Hybridity Endocriminological Science Series. Institutional affiliation: ENDOCRIMINOLOGIE — Independent Research Institution, Belgium. Abstract Research Note 27 develops an endological approach to scientific inquiry through the examination of questions, answers, attribution, institutional positions, juridical allegedness, position substitution and the pragmatics of valuation. The research distinguishes DIALOGUEₒ from ENDOLOGUEₒ. Dialogue ordinarily develops through exchanges between interlocutors, including questions, responses, agreement and disagreement. Endological inquiry introduces an independently maintainable epistemic reference through which the encountered configuration, the participants' positions and the questions themselves become available for scientific examination. The distinction is methodological. An ENDO-QUESTIONₒ examines the encountered object, the attributed meanings, the referential positions and the distinctions through which a question becomes intelligible. An ENDOLOGICAL ANSWERₒ develops from within an identifiable position through the processing of the encountered configuration. Its scientific contribution may consist in a new distinction, an independently readable finding, a reformulated question or an available capacity for further inquiry. The question itself may remain open. Within this methodology, keeping a question open can constitute a positive scientific achievement. The inquiry provisions epistemic resources without requiring every question to culminate in a definitive answer, consensus or judicial determination. Research Configuration The documents assembled in Research Note 27 examine several interconnected research fields: Institutional independence, constitutional solidarity and available judicial capacities. Attribution, allegedness and the distinction between encountered facts and juridical qualification. Position substitution and the preservation of independently assigned responsibilities. The foulard and headscarf as encountered objects, including the attribution of religious meaning, protective functions, exclusion and the position of children. Endological questions and answers as methodological instruments for examining public communication and valuation. The research preserves the distinct positions of scientific inquiry, political representation, institutional responsibility and judicial determination. The Pragmatics of Valuationₒ The conceptual clarification introduces public prize-giving as an illustrative research encounter. Before evaluating whether an award is deserved, an antecedent endological question becomes available: WHAT IS BEING PRAISED? WHAT VALUE IS BEING ATTRIBUTED? FROM WHICH REFERENTIAL POSITION, AND ON WHAT GROUNDS? The inquiry thus distinguishes the award, the object of praise and the valuation expressed through the public act of awarding. Its purpose is to make the valuation itself scientifically readable while preserving the independent judgment of the person expressing it. Methodological Contribution — Linguistic Deconstructionₒ and the Reader's Independent Answerₒ Research Note 27 develops the FESS / FCLS / FHESS methodology through FINDINGₒ, NAMINGₒ, LINGUISTIC DECONSTRUCTIONₒ, DISTINGUISHINGₒ and READINGₒ. LINGUISTIC DECONSTRUCTIONₒ examines the linguistic forms, semantic distinctions, attributed meanings and implicit presuppositions through which an encountered object becomes readable. When etymological origin is treated as the definitive boundary of meaning, it constrains future conceptual development by excluding new semantic contents that linguistic deconstruction may otherwise make available. Words, expressions, classifications and their possible segmentations are made available for renewed examination. Linguistic deconstruction distinguishes established etymological findings from exploratory linguistic constructions, allowing unexpected readings to become productive scientific questions. The subscript ₒ marks an explicitly situated object of inquiry. The operator >< brings distinct readings and positions into relation while preserving their differentiation. Open Endo-Questionsₒ and the Reader's Answering Positionₒ The endological method makes OPEN ENDO-QUESTIONSₒ available to every reader. These questions invite readers to examine the encountered object, distinguish attributed meanings and develop their own understanding from their independently maintained referential positions. EACH READER MAY CONSTRUCT AN ANSWERₒ FROM THEIR OWN POSITION. The scientific contribution of an open endo-question lies in the epistemic resources it provisions and the possibilities for independent inquiry it makes available. An ENDOLOGICAL ANSWERₒ develops through the reader's own examination, differentiation and interpretation of the research material. The reader may formulate a provisional finding, introduce an additional distinction, identify another research question or articulate an available course of action. The research thus preserves the plurality of possible answers while making their respective positions and grounds available for scientific examination. Beyond Dialogical Closureₒ Where dialogical exchanges may seek agreement, disagreement or resolution between interlocutors, endological inquiry provides an independent epistemic reference through which questions can remain open. The reader's answer belongs to the reader. The researcher's contribution consists in making the encountered configuration, the linguistic distinctions and the open endo-questions available for further examination. THE QUESTION MAY REMAIN OPEN. THE READER MAY DEVELOP AN ANSWER. THE INQUIRY REMAINS AVAILABLE. I SHALL NOT RESPOND. I SHALL ANSWER. FESS >< FCLS >< FHESS — ENDOCRIMINOLOGIE I SHALL NOT RESPOND. I SHALL ANSWER. This proposition expresses the distinction between reactive dialogical feedback and an independently developed endological answer. Publication Development Research Note 27 is presented as an evolving research configuration. The initial publication makes the assembled research documents and the conceptual clarification of question and answer types available for independent examination. Subsequent versions may incorporate additional documents, refined distinctions and an integrated reading of their research genealogy. The questions opened by the research remain available for further scientific, institutional and juridical examination.
