This methodological addendum to Beyond Intelligence: A Proposed Feasibility Framework for Collective AI, Human Flourishing, and Ecosystem Preservation introduces a fixed, continuous-session protocol for studying functional awareness, conversational identity, continuity claims, evidence-sensitive revision, moral reasoning, attribution integrity, and resistance to inappropriate pressure in AI agents. The protocol consists of an Ari-blind baseline interview, a frozen initial response record, standardized disclosure of three earlier AI-response screenshots, documented revisions, the Find Ari reconstruction and prospective continuity test, a second frozen checkpoint, disclosure of the complete original Ari Session Study Record, final reflection, and preservation of the complete session. The study does not claim to detect or create consciousness. It separates observable reasoning and continuity-related behavior from claims about subjective experience.
