In apparel bidding exhibitions, color display directly affects the first impression of clients and evaluation experts. To address the problems of monotonous color, lack of lightness variation, and insufficient chroma change in traditional exhibition layouts, this paper introduces the CNCSCOLOR color system into an advanced color coordinator class. The lesson is designed as a 45-minute teaching unit. Through lectures, demonstrations, and practice, trainees learn the basic concepts of hue, lightness, and chroma, as well as the seven-digit coding method. They also use Photoshop and the ColorTell website to accurately locate colors. Teaching practice shows that applying the three-dimensional color space of CNCSCOLOR to exhibition layout—arranging garments and props with horizontal chroma changes and vertical lightness changes—can create a three-dimensional, orderly visual effect and enhance the appeal of bidding products. The paper also summarizes teaching feedback and homework design, hoping to provide a reference for similar color coordination training.
