This project contains the protocol, search strategy, eligibility criteria, study selection process, data extraction procedures, quality assessment framework, and supplementary materials associated with the systematic literature review entitled "Combining Artificial Intelligence Models for Sound Source Classification in Urban Soundscapes: A Systematic Literature Review". The review follows the guidelines for systematic literature reviews proposed by Kitchenham and Charters and is reported according to the PRISMA-ScR framework. The objective is to identify, analyze, and synthesize evidence on Artificial Intelligence models used for sound source classification in urban soundscapes, with particular emphasis on hybrid and non-hybrid approaches, their architectures, datasets, acoustic representations, evaluation metrics, reported performance, and research gaps.
