The importance of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education, healthcare, and related scientific fields has grown rapidly, leading to a significant increase in published research. Bibliometric analysis is an effective method for evaluating research trends and understanding the intellectual structure of a scientific field. The aim of this study was to examine the research landscape, identify key research themes, and visualize the conceptual structure of the literature through bibliometric analysis. Bibliographic records were retrieved from the PubMed database, covering publications available up to July 7, 2026. A total of 3,915 publications were analysed using VOSviewer (version 1.6.20). Keyword co-occurrence analysis was conducted to identify influential keywords, thematic clusters, and research hotspots through network, cluster, and density visualizations. The analysis identified 2,224 keyword co-occurrences with a total link strength of 7,681. COVID-19, ICT, Internet, Communication, and Telemedicine emerged as the most prominent keywords, highlighting their pivotal role in the research network. Visualization maps revealed four main thematic clusters related to education, healthcare, public health, and biomedical research, demonstrating deep interconnections and a multidisciplinary knowledge structure. The findings indicate a shift towards greater multidisciplinary collaboration in research, with digital technologies playing a crucial role in shaping contemporary studies. This bibliometric analysis provides valuable insights into research trends, the evolution of themes, and future research opportunities.
