Gallup fielded Wave 3 of the National Couples' Health and Time Study (NCHAT) from June 17, 2025, to February 14, 2026. The original NCHAT survey (Wave 1) covered adults between the ages of 20 and 60 who were cohabiting with or married to same- and different-gender partners. All primary respondents who completed Wave 1 were invited to participate in Wave 3 as the Returning Sample, regardless of their current relationship status. In addition, a Refreshment Sample of married or cohabiting adults ages 20 to 29 was drawn from the Gallup Panel (the NCHAT Young Adult Study, or NCHAT-YA). A total of 2,457 returning respondents and 1,180 refreshment respondents completed the main survey, for response rates of 67.5% (AAPOR RR5) and 66.5% (AAPOR RR3), respectively. This report describes the sampling, survey administration, response rates, data cleaning, weighting, and nonresponse bias analysis for Wave 3.
