Short Sumerian and Akkadian Texts in English for the First Time: Twenty-Two Readings This paper holds twenty-two short Sumerian and Akkadian texts, put into English for the first time. Each one carries its tablet number and its sources, and credit for any earlier partial work is printed on its face. Each reading was built from a museum or corpus record's served transliteration, credited to its transliterators and editors on the face; uncertain readings are marked and broken lines are left broken. The paper also prints the exclusions appendix: the other sixty-five readings of the underlying 87-reading shelf, with what was held and what would unlock each.
