In the Industry 4.0 era, the digitization of audio-visual art and production has accelerated, covering key ecosystems (film, TV, games, streaming). This intensified format hybridization and the emergence of a new digital audiovisual landscape. An integral segment in the post-postmodern era is art virtuality, arising from the “techno-form of life” and VR technologies applied to contemporary culture. This process involves rejecting binarism (real–imaginary, natural–artificial), producing virtual artifacts, enhancing interactivity, non-linear modeling, establishing a “new corporeality,” and aesthetic experiments with cyberspace. The author argues that art virtuality has emerged as a dynamic aesthetic environment generated by VR technologies. It forms specific virtual-aesthetic experiences resulting from the recipient’s contact with technologically determined (simulators, telepresence, desktop VR, etc.) and interactive cyberspace, where the user becomes a co-author of the virtual art world.
