Anton-Paar was used to determine the density (ρ) of pure liquids and their mixes, such as isoamyl alcohol (IAA) with isomeric cresols, between 303.15 K, 308.15 K and 313.15 K at 0.1 MPa. Over the same temperature range, sound speed (u) was also measured. Excess volumes (VE) were computed using experimental density values and compared with the Redlich-Kister (RK), Hwang (HW) and Jouyban-Acree (JA) models. Data on density and sound speed were used to calculate KS and KSE. Sound speed was analysed using theoretical models such as CFT, FLT, Nomoto and JA. Model correctness was evaluated using statistical metrics such as RMSD, MPD, MRD and IRD (hydrogen bonding and other molecular interactions in binary mixtures).
