The Reference Orbital System (ROS): A Closed Circular Representation of Infinity and Geometric Accumulation Across Scales Author: Dler Amin MohammedResearch Date: 22 October 2026 This preliminary mathematical research proposes a conceptual closed circular representation of the real number line while preserving the mathematical distinction between positive and negative infinity. The model introduces reference orbitals as fixed numerical positions. When comparing sequences, unoccupied reference orbitals remain identifiable, allowing the number of reference stages traversed to be considered alongside the numerical elements of each sequence. The research distinguishes between zero displacement after completing a circular path and the nonzero accumulated distance traveled. For a reference circle with diameter D = 1, the circumference is C = π. After n complete revolutions, the accumulated geometric path length is A = nπD, while the net displacement remains zero. The study explores the geometric invariance of π across quantum, everyday, and cosmic scales. It also discusses a preliminary conceptual comparison with renormalization in Quantum Electrodynamics (QED). The proposed relationships between infinity, reference orbitals, geometric accumulation, and physical scales remain theoretical hypotheses requiring further mathematical development and experimental investigation.
