This research examines one of the means of lexical cohesion: collocation in Surah Saba. It does so through a textual analysis aimed at revealing the function of collocation in achieving cohesion and semantic coherence within the Quranic text. The research comprises an introduction, a preface, three main sections (the first on antonymy, the second on contrast, and the third on the relationship between the part and the whole), and a conclusion summarizing the most important findings. These findings include the conclusion that Surah Saba contains all three means of collocation, and their application contributes to highlighting the cohesion of the surah’s textual fabric and strengthening its semantic coherence in a way that serves its general objectives of establishing the issues of monotheism, resurrection, and recompense.
