This paper studies composition and morphology of ceramic powders based on ZrO2 stabilized with 3 mol. % Y2O3 (3YSZ), synthesized by chemical coprecipitation. The in fl uence of the type of initial reagents and the temperature of crystallization annealing of such powders on the physical, mechanical and thermophysical properties of ceramics sintered from them is considered. It has been established that the choice of reagent a ff ects the morphology and phase composition of the synthesized powders.
