To protect fundamental rights, domestic remedies and international human rights obligations are essential. In Pakistan, the Constitution guarantees certain rights to individuals and provides judicial remedies, and it is also bound under international treaties to ensure standards of equality, justice, and accountability all over the world. Despite such safeguards, effective implementation may be hindered by practical and institutional problems. This study examines the interconnection between domestic legal remedies and international human rights commitments, focusing on the gap between law and practice. It now addresses the difficulties, prospects, and reforms that can help to reinforce human rights protection and better fulfil both constitutional and international human rights commitments.
