This scoping review protocol outlines the methods for examining how community living archives involving Indigenous communities in the United States document, preserve, govern, and transmit cultural knowledge. Guided by the Population–Concept–Context (PCC) framework, the review will search five databases and digital libraries: Anthropological Literature, JSTOR, Library & Information Science Source, PubMed, and Scopus. Findings will describe archival practices and identify cultural, methodological, technical, and sustainability gaps in the literature.
