Flight training efficiency plays a major role in the readiness and competence of aspiring pilots. This study was conducted at Indiana Aerospace University for the Academic Year 2025–2026 to evaluate the effectiveness of its flight training program. Using a mixed-method approach, the researchers gathered data from 100 aviation students, 5 flight instructors, and the university’s fleet personnel through structured surveys and semi-structured questionnaires. Data were analyzed to determine the efficiency of flight training in terms of flight hours and time management, operational and technical performance, and environmental and safety considerations. Results revealed that while students and instructors acknowledged adherence to safety protocols and instructional quality, challenges such as aircraft availability, scheduling delays, and limited instructor coverage affected overall training efficiency. An action plan was proposed to optimize flight scheduling, strengthen instructor-to-student ratios, and improve resource allocation to ensure a more efficient and reliable training environment for future aviators.
