Teacher performance assessment is essential for evaluating a teacher’s professionalism in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, as well as for supporting decision-making aimed at improving the quality of education. At SMP Negeri Apui, teacher performance assessments are currently conducted using paper-based forms; consequently, data processing, file retrieval, and the storage of assessment documents are not yet digitally integrated. This study aims to design and develop a web-based decision support system for teacher performance assessment, utilizing the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. The SAW method is applied through several stages: determining criteria weights, normalizing values, calculating preference scores, and rangking alternatives. The criteria employed include discipline, responsibility, work performance, cooperation, and initiative. The system was developed using the PHP programming language and a MySQL database. The results indicate that the system is capable of managing teacher data, processing assessments based on the established criteria, and presenting the calculation results and rankings. Based on the calculations for 20 teachers, Intan B. Singamou, S.Pd., achieved the highest preference score of 0.995744, securing the top rank. This system is expected to assist and streamline the teacher performance assessment process at SMP Negeri Apui.
