This thesis analyzes the contribution of human capital and digital skills to labor market adaptation in the digital economy. Based on systematic conceptual analysis, it distinguishes foundational digital literacy, occupation-specific competencies, and transferable analytical capabilities. The study examines how changing workplace tasks generate skills mismatches and why continuous training requires coordination between employers and education providers. A conceptual framework is proposed for linking competency assessment, modular learning, and employment outcomes. Recommendations focus on demand-oriented reskilling, verifiable skill acquisition, and inclusive access to lifelong learning.
