Developments in financial technology in Indonesia have made it easier to access various financial services, including online loans, which are now increasingly popular amongst Generation Z. This situation highlights the importance of understanding the factors that influence an individual’s decision to use online loans. This study aims to examine how income levels, loan interest rates, and the ease of accessing loan application platforms influence Generation Z’s decisions regarding the use of online loan services in Bandar Lampung City, from the perspective of Islamic financial management. This study employs a quantitative approach with a population of 249,770 members of Generation Z in Bandar Lampung. The sample comprised 100 respondents, selected via probability sampling using the Slovin formula with a margin of error of 10 per cent. Data were collected via a questionnaire and analysed using the PLS-SEM method with the aid of SmartPLS software.
