This study examined Electronic Human Resource Management (E-HRM) Systems and Remote Work Management in Public Sector Organizations in Nigeria in the Post-COVID-19 Era. The objectives were to: examine the extent to which E-HRM systems influence the effectiveness of remote work management; assess the organizational, technological, and human resource factors affecting the implementation and utilization of E-HRM systems; and determine the strategies for enhancing the effectiveness of E-HRM systems in improving remote work management and organizational performance in Nigerian public sector organizations. The study was anchored on the Technology–Organization–Environment (TOE) Framework, which explains technology adoption based on technological, organizational, and environmental contexts. A descriptive survey research design was adopted. The study population comprised 8,125 employees drawn from three selected Federal Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), namely the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC), National Population Commission (NPC), and Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC). Using the Taro Yamane formula, a sample size of 381 respondents was determined through a multi-stage sampling technique. Primary data were collected using a structured questionnaire validated by experts, while the instrument's reliability was established using Cronbach's Alpha. Data were analysed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) Version 29. Descriptive statistics comprising frequencies, percentages, means, and standard deviations were used to answer the research questions, while Multiple Linear Regression Analysis was employed to test the hypotheses at the 0.05 level of significance. Based on results from the analyzed, the findings indicated that E-HRM systems significantly improved remote work management by enhancing digital communication, employee performance monitoring, virtual collaboration, and administrative efficiency. Organizational readiness, technological infrastructure, and human resource competencies were found to significantly influence the successful implementation and utilization of E-HRM systems. Furthermore, investment in ICT infrastructure, continuous staff training, management commitment, cybersecurity enhancement, and supportive digital HR policies significantly improved remote work management and organizational performance. The study concluded that effective implementation of E-HRM systems is essential for strengthening digital governance and improving public sector performance in Nigeria's post-COVID-19 work environment. It recommended increased government investment in ICT infrastructure, continuous digital capacity building, stronger cybersecurity frameworks, integrated digital HR systems, supportive leadership, standardized remote work policies, and regular evaluation of E-HRM implementation to enhance organizational effectiveness.
