Tuberculosis (TB) remains a major communicabledisease and public health concern, requiring preventive measures such as Tuberculosis Preventife Treatment (TPT) for individuals who have been in close contact whit TB patients. Among 163 TB patients recorded from 2023 to 2025, only 3.1% of their close contacts were willing to undergo TPT, segesting that TPT implementation at Darul Imarah Public Health Center is not yet optimal. Factors such as knowledge, family support, and health education provided bt heathcare workers may influence adherence to TPT, while barriers may include limited information, concerns about adverse effects, and siqma related to TPT. This study employed a qualitative descriptive nethod whit a case study approach. The respondents include healthcare workers and close contacts of TB patients. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed thematically. The findings showed that TPT implementations followed the required stages, incuding contact indentification, creening, education, medication provision, and monitoring; however, implementation remained subobtimal. Close contacts who underwent TPT generally demonstrated better adherence, supported by family support, personal motivasion, and asistence from healthcare workes. Barries to TPT implementation and adherence include limited understanding, concerns about adverse effects, and sigma. This study concludes that although TPT implementation at Darul Imarah Public Health Center is not yet optimal, adherence among close contacts who undergo treatment is generally good. Therefore, strengthening health education and counseling, providing continuous support and monitoring, and conducting active contact treacing are recommended to incrase TPT coverage and maintain treatment adherence.
