OBJECTIVES: This is a protocol for a Cochrane review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: To evaluate the benefits and harms of the embolization of the middle meningeal artery for non-acute subdural hematoma in adults. Secondary objectives To assess equity-related issues, including sex and gender, through subgroup analyses comparing the intervention's effects between male and female subjects, between younger and older adults, and across different pre-event functional status.
