This article presents a dual-wideband load-modulated balanced amplifier (DW-LMBA) architecture that operates efficiently over two widely separated frequency bands while enabling dynamic power sharing and independent band operation for reduced idling power. The proposed architecture employs two band-specific main amplifiers together with a wideband balanced auxiliary amplifier shared across both bands, providing directional power combining and compatibility with unsynchronized time-division duplex (TDD) operation. A prototype covering 0.6–1 and 1.8–2.7 GHz has been implemented and experimentally characterized, achieving peak output powers of47.8\,± \,0.4and47.4\,± \,0.8\,dBm, with drain efficiencies of 50%–60% and 38%–48% at 8.5-dB output back-off (BO) for the low- and high-frequency bands, respectively. Furthermore, linearized modulated measurements using New Radio (NR) signals of various bandwidths demonstrate the linearizability of the proposed DW-LMBA across both widebands.
