Open burning of rice straw is one of the agricultural activities that contributes to air pollution and has the potential to affect environmental quality and public health. This study aims to analyze ambient air quality in Tasikmadu Village affected by straw-burning activities, based on the Air Pollutant Standard Index (Indeks Standar Polusi Udara, ISPU), using the parameters PM2.5, PM10, CO, and SO2. Ambient air quality sampling was conducted on 27 November 2025 from 11:00 to 16:00 at three observation points located 0 m, 100 m, and 200 m from the straw-burning emission source, with a one-hour measurement duration for each pollutant parameter. The measurement method refers to the Indonesian National Standard (SNI), while the ISPU calculation refers to the Regulation of the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia Number P.14/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/7/2020. The results indicated that pollutant concentrations decreased with increasing distance from the source of burning straw. ISPU analysis showed that the PM2.5, PM10, CO, and SO2 parameters were in the "unhealthy" to "dangerous" category, while the SO₂ parameters were in the "moderate" to "good" category. The results of the study show that straw-burning activities contribute to reduced ambient air quality and may increase the risk of public health disturbances in agricultural areas.
