Due to increasing environmental challenges and needed for resource efficient material used eco-friendly reinforcement in polymer composite have gained significant attention sustainable alternative to conventional synthetic materials. Thus, a comprehensive overview of natural fiber and particles reinforced polymer composite, focusing on plant, minerals, and animal wastes derived fiber and particles based reinforcement was presented in this study. The effect of fiber matrix interfacial bonding and surface modification techniques critically discussed with mechanical, thermal, acoustic, and environmental performance of this eco-friendly reinforcements in the composites. Processing and fabrication methods ranging used advance manufacturing approaches such as additive manufacturing replacement from conventional technique are also reviewed. Emphasizing this study urges on using the co-friendly reinforcements in polymer materials from used in important industrial applications in automotive, construction packaging, insulation sectors due to their contribution in reduced carbon footprint and circular economy principles. Finally, key challenges related to durability, moisture sensitivity, standardization, and scalability are identified, and future research directions are proposed to enable wider industrial adoption of sustainable polymer composite systems.
