Although many patients have had satisfactory outcomes from arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, persistent rotational instability and graft failure still occur. Therefore, the anterolateral ligament complex has been a newer focus of research. The addition of the lateral extra‐articular tenodesis to augment anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction has been found to increase stabilization and reduce rerupture rates. We describe our surgical technique for performing a modified Lemaire lateral extra‐articular tenodesis with an all‐suture knotless anchor.
