The rapid pace of digital transformation presents both opportunities and risks for rural communities. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to enhance digital literacy, reduce vulnerability to digital crimes, foster ethical behavior in social media use, and encourage initial steps toward the digitalization of public services in Nagari Talaok. The program was implemented on November 20, 2025, through educational sessions, interactive discussions, and simple practical demonstrations of digital services. The evaluation employed participatory observation, pre–post questionnaires, and activity documentation. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of online fraud schemes and preventive measures, increased awareness of ethical social media practices, and the readiness of village officials to implement at least one digital-based administrative service. This program recommends follow-up actions in the form of advanced technical training and continued assistance in the implementation of a Village Information System.
