Subject. Features of assessing the competitiveness of office staff in the process of professional development. Objectives. To develop and test a methodology for assessing the competitiveness of office staff in the process of professional development. Methods. The methods of systematic and comparative analysis, grouping, expert assessments, the method of analyzing hierarchies by T. Saati, the statistical method of hypothesis testing (Student's t-test) are used. Results. A methodology for assessing the competitiveness of office staff in the process of professional development is proposed, taking into account professional skills, digital literacy, discipline and soft competencies. A hypothetical example shows that the group with high learning outcomes demonstrated an integral competitiveness index of 0.906. The group with low results demonstrated 0.768 with a threshold value of 0.8. It was found that the greatest contribution to improving competitiveness is made by an increase in soft skills. Conclusions. The proposed methodology makes it possible to translate qualitative characteristics into numerical coefficients and obtain an integral quantitative assessment that is comparable over time and between employees. The practical significance of the results lies in the possibility of using the methodology by organizations of any field of activity to justify investments in training, select effective educational programs and build individual development plans.
