This publication brings together academic contributions and research experiences presented at the VI International Meeting on Solidarity Economy and Social Innovation (ESIS 2026), held from October 27 to 30, 2026, at the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Santa Marta campus. Focusing on the social and solidarity economy, social innovation, and the development of solidarity-based territories, the publication explores alternative development approaches aimed at collective well-being, environmental sustainability, civic participation, and the strengthening of community organizations. The contributions are organized into six thematic areas: public policies, socioecological transitions, and active citizenship; solidarity-based territories and sustainable territorial development, with an emphasis on community-based tourism; entrepreneurship ecosystems, social innovation, and digital transition; education, research, and pedagogies for transitions; measurement of social, economic, and environmental impact; and solidarity-based food systems, agroecology, and sustainability. Through interdisciplinary perspectives, case studies, methodological proposals, and territorial experiences, the chapters examine topics such as cooperativism, community governance, economic inclusion, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, solidarity-based education, environmental management, and social impact assessment. Overall, the publication contributes to dialogue among academia, social organizations, and communities, fostering reflection on collaborative economic models capable of addressing contemporary social, environmental, and technological challenges.
