The article examines modern approaches to assessing mental resilience in women involved in health-enhancing recreational physical activity. The evolution of the concept of resilience, theoretical perspectives on its interpretation, and key psychodiagnostic methods used to determine stress resistance and adaptive capacity are analyzed. The paper summarizes data on the most widely used assessment tools, including CD-RISC, BRS, RSA, as well as additional psychometric and physiological methods. The role of recreational physical activity as an effective means of strengthening psychological resilience in women is highlighted. It is demonstrated that regular participation in fitness training, yoga, Pilates, stretching, and aerobic exercise contributes to enhanced emotional stability, reduced stress levels, improved autonomic regulation, and the development of adaptive coping strategies. The importance of a comprehensive approach to resilience assessment—integrating psychometric, physiological, behavioral methods and the analysis of socio-psychological factors—is emphasized. The findings underscore the need to improve assessment methodologies and implement personalized recreational physical activity programs aimed at enhancing women’s mental resilience.
