Anesthesia personnel participating in fluoroscopy-guided interventions are routinely exposed to ionizing radiation; however, their occupational radiation burden remains insufficiently characterized. This single-center descriptive and exploratory study investigated occupational ionizing radiation exposure among anesthesiology personnel using real-time personal dosimetry. A total of 134 procedures across multiple interventional specialties were evaluated using the HERADO radiation management platform and ALMAR active personal dosimeters. Mean over-apron personal dose equivalent Hp(10) ranged from 0.010 ± 0.009 mSv to 0.025 ± 0.011 mSv per procedure. Descriptive differences in occupational exposure were observed across procedural categories; however, these differences should not be attributed independently to procedural category because relevant technical, geometric, shielding, and workflow factors were not fully quantified. The findings demonstrate the value of real-time personal dosimetry for procedure-level characterization of occupational exposure and may inform radiation-protection strategies in fluoroscopy-guided clinical practice.
