In this paper we first characterize a fuzzy quasi-normed space whose induced topology satisfies the T2separation axiom. Then we focus on various properties of fuzzy quasi-normed spaces, including right-boundedness, precompactness and compactness. In particular, we introduce a notion of strong compact-ness of fuzzy quasi-normed spaces, which is used to describe the right-boundedness.
