In Fall 2025, UC Berkeley launched a two-year storage pilot in response to increased needs for research data storage on campus. The pilot offers faculty (and emeriti) 5 TB of storage across five campus storage services. The pilot is managed as a strategic partnership between three campus units: Berkeley IT, Research IT, and the Library.
