This study conducted a librosa-based computational acoustic analysis of four Beompae Jitsori pieces-Inseong, Borye, Teuksagaji, and Jisim-performed by a master Beompae practitioner, to quantitatively compare piece-specific acoustic characteristics and build foundational acoustic data for subsequent wellness-related listening and physiological research. The primary interpretive indicators were four acoustic measures: fundamental frequency (F0), spectral centroid (SC), HPSS-based harmonic-component ratio (HR, operational metric), and RMS.To select representative intervals, 30second RMS variation patterns were examined alongside musicological structure, and intervals corresponding to the initial, development, climax, and concluding stages were selected. The results showed that Inseong exhibited a relatively stable F0 structure centered on sustained low tones. In contrast, Borye showed the largest F0 increase, approximately 69.3 Hz, from the first to the second interval.Teuksagaji maintained relatively consistent F0, SC, and HR values across all intervals, whereas Jisim had the lowest overall mean RMS (0.0440) and the highest overall mean HR (0.894) among the four pieces.Exploratory visualization using principal component analysis (PCA) showed that the four pieces occupied different positions in the acoustic feature space, with the first two principal components explaining approximately 89.5% of the cumulative variance. However, this result is a descriptive visualization limited to four pieces (n=4) and does not indicate statistical differences among the pieces or a generalizable structure. In addition, because this study is an exploratory descriptive comparison based on a single performer and a single album, the observed acoustic characteristics cannot be generalized to Beompae Jitsori as a whole or interpreted as evidence of wellness efficacy. This study is a foundational step toward computationally quantifying the acoustic characteristics of Beompae Jitsori, a traditional Korean vocal genre, and linking them to subsequent digital wellness research.
