The role of higher education institutions in fostering innovation ecosystems has become increasingly important in the context of global economic transformation. However, empirical studies examining the combined influence of strategic global entrepreneurship and university–industry partnerships on innovation ecosystem performance remain limited, particularly in emerging economies. This study aims to investigate the impact of Strategic Global Entrepreneurship and University–Industry Partnerships on Innovation Ecosystem Performance in Indonesian higher education institutions. A quantitative approach was employed using a cross-sectional survey design, with data collected from 182 respondents, including lecturers, innovation managers, startup founders, and industry partners. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that both Strategic Global Entrepreneurship and University-Industry Partnerships have a positive and significant effect on Innovation Ecosystem Performance. Notably, university–industry partnerships demonstrate a stronger influence, highlighting the importance of collaborative mechanisms in driving innovation outcomes. This study contributes to the literature by integrating both constructs into a unified empirical model and provides practical insights for universities and policymakers in strengthening innovation ecosystems in emerging economies.
