The article is devoted to the analysis of current problems of prosecutorial supervision over the enforcement of legislation on the prevention of extremism among youth, taking into account the fundamental changes in the regulatory framework of 2024–2026. The aim of the study is to identify regulatory gaps, procedural and organizational difficulties impeding the effective exercise of prosecutorial powers, and to propose specific mechanisms for their elimination. The scientific significance is determined by the comprehensive nature of the analysis: it examines legal collisions in defining the prosecutor's office as a subject of extremism prevention, the institution of extrajudicial blocking of extremist content, supervisory challenges in countering new forms of youth radicalization (school shooting, destructive subcultures), as well as the potential of the Comprehensive Measures for 2026–2030. The practical significance consists in the substantiation of specific proposals for improving legal regulation. The novelty is expressed in the systematization of supervisory practice problems based on the updated Strategy for Countering Extremism of 2024 and the statistics of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for 2025 – the first half of 2026.
