Background: Spastic cerebral palsy (SCP) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by impaired motor function and increased muscle tone resulting from injury to the developing brain. Inflammatory processes have been implicated in the pathophysiology of cerebral palsy, particularly in relation to prenatal and perinatal brain injury. However, the relationship between systemic inflammatory biomarkers, functional severity, and long-term clinical outcomes remains incompletely understood.
