This paper summarizes all data, including our own studies and literature data on horseflies recorded in the Croatian part of Baranja. A total of 33 species and one subspecies of horseflies (Tabanidae) belonging to seven genera were recorded from the Croatian part of Baranja. Species richness was highest in the Monjoroš Forest and Kopački rit Nature Park, each with 26 taxa. The fauna of both sites showed high similarity, with 80.76% compositional overlap. Haematopota Meigen, 1803 and Tabanus L., 1758 were the most species-rich genera, whereas the other genera were less diverse. Tabanus bromius L., 1758 was the most abundant species, representing 47.73% of all collected specimens. The number of recorded species and subspecies represents 44.15% of all recorded horsefly fauna in Croatia. Most recorded taxa belong to the Boreal-Eurasian faunal type, followed by the South European subtype and the Afro-Eurasian arid type.
