An AI-Powered Interview Preparation and Mentoring Platform

Interview preparation is an important part of career development, yet candidates often use separate services for resume checking, question practice, mock interviews, and feedback. This paper reviews research on artificial intelligence in recruitment and interview preparation and presents NextHire AI, a web-based interview preparation and mentoring platform. The system combines resume analysis, interview question practice, mock interview support, aptitude and coding preparation, camerabased posture analysis, progress monitoring, and mentor access. A role-based administration module supports user management, mentor verification, and activity monitoring. The review identifies personalization, integrated feedback, privacy, fairness, and validation as important considerations for future development. The paper describes the proposed platform and its intended functionality; it does not claim measured improvements in hiring outcomes.
