The aim of this study was to assess animal welfare conditions in dairy cow barns in Mazowieckie Voivodeship. Selected parameters, including air temperature, relative humidity, Temperature-Humidity Index (THI), concentrations of NH3, H2S, and CO2, and noise levels, were evaluated. Analysis of the data revealed no abnormalities regarding the concentrations of harmful gaseous contaminants or noise levels. These parameters fell within the applicable standards. In several barns, the upper limit for air temperature was exceeded. This was mainly due to high ambient air temperatures. The increase in this parameter was also influenced by the rooms small volume and faulty or absent ventilation. Relative humidity measurements in the barns were mostly within acceptable ranges. Only in five buildings were values found to deviate from the recommended levels. In two cases, the upper limit of this parameter was exceeded, and in three cases, it was below the established recommendations.
