This study aims to analyze fluctuations in the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) in relation to the development of financial instruments and the dynamics of the Indonesian capital market during the period 2019-2023. Using a quantitative descriptive method with a comparative study approach, this study compares trends in Stock Market Capitalization, Growth Rates of Money Supply, and Stock Market Price Index based on data from the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The results of the analysis show that the Indonesian capital market experienced significant volatility due to a combination of internal and external factors, particularly the COVID-19 pandemic and changes in global monetary policy. The year 2020 marked the lowest point of market activity, but there was a rapid recovery in 2021-2023 as investor confidence and economic stability increased. In general, the IHSG reflects the national economy's considerable resilience amid global uncertainty. This study emphasizes the importance of the capital market's role as an indicator of economic stability and as a source of long-term financing that supports sustainable economic growth.
