Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) contribute significantly to Indonesia’s economic development but face financial vulnerabilities arising from limited financial literacy, financing constraints, and economic uncertainty. This study examines financial literacy and digital financial access as determinants of MSME financial resilience using a qualitative library research approach. Drawing on the Resource-Based View, Financial Capability Theory, and financial intermediation perspectives, the study synthesizes academic literature and institutional reports. The findings indicate that financial literacy strengthens financial management, risk assessment, and sustainable decision-making, while digital financial access facilitates financing opportunities, transaction efficiency, and liquidity flexibility. However, digital financial inclusion alone does not guarantee financial resilience without adequate financial competence. The study proposes an integrated conceptual framework linking financial literacy and digital financial access to financial resilience through effective financial management and adaptive capacity. Strengthening MSME resilience therefore requires coordinated financial education, responsible digital financial inclusion, and supportive institutional ecosystems for sustainable business development.
