This article examines the development of a case-based learning (CBL) scenario centering around the development of primary source literacy skills among undergraduate business students within the context of a business information literacy course. The scenario was built according to the core ideas of the Association of College and Research Libraries’ Rare Books and Manuscripts Section (RBMS) and the Society of American Archivists (SAA) Guidelines for Primary Source Literacy. The study explores which of the ACRL RBMS-SAA Guidelines for Primary Source Literacy core ideas were met most strongly as well any affective experiences realized by the students that further enhanced the CBL scenario.
