StartupOS: Design and Implementation of an Integrated Operating Platform for Startups StartupOS is a web-based platform designed to centralize essential startup administration and simplify routine organizational workflows. The system aims to address challenges associated with managing employee information, attendance records, leave requests, departmental information, and user access across disconnected tools. The proposed platform is developed using React.js for the frontend, Node.js and Express.js for backend services, and MySQL for relational data storage. It incorporates authentication, role-based access control, employee management, department management, attendance tracking, leave application and approval, and role-specific dashboards. The research presents the system architecture, implementation approach, core functionalities, and preliminary functional testing. The project documentation reports six successful functional test cases covering login validation, account creation, employee login, leave approval, and role-based access restrictions. The current implementation focuses on essential administrative workflows. Additional features, including project and task management, customer relationship management (CRM), finance, inventory, and AI-assisted insights, are identified as potential future enhancements. This work demonstrates the design and implementation of a startup operations prototype and discusses its limitations and opportunities for further development, including comprehensive security assessment, performance evaluation, and usability testing.
