The Terran Series is an original body of philosophical and astronomical work originated by Lee-Kah Williams in June 2026. It consists of thirteen documents addressing a single foundational problem: every major human system for organizing time and reading the cosmos was built in the Northern Hemisphere, and the four billion people living south of the equator have been living inside systems that were not designed for their seasonal reality and have never acknowledged that. The series is built on one philosophical proposition: life is coherence that has learned to write itself into time. From that foundation it proposes a reformed calendar, hemispheric astrological frameworks, a solar time standard, a soul calendar, and a 52-week contemplative practice — all for the full human population of the earth. Document XXII names and frames the temporal divergence Δ = t − τ between Earth's coordinate time and a vessel's proper time over an interstellar crossing. The Interval begins at zero at departure, grows with velocity through the crossing and is fixed permanently at arrival. The physics is special relativity and is settled. The document proposes no new physics, and it states that reaching the speeds at which the Interval becomes large is an unsolved engineering problem and not a prediction. Its contribution is the name and the framing for a civilization that would have to hold two clocks. It follows from Document XXI (The Terran Navigation). It is Contribution 34 of the Series.
