Enamines are well known for their highly versatile and distinctive reactivity toward the generation of molecular diversity and complexity. By reacting with phosphorus‐based reagents, enamines are able to generate a broad array of phosphorus containing organic products, providing practical accesses to structurally diverse phosphorus‐functionalized small molecules through different reaction pathways. Herein, based on our longstanding interest and the recent advances in this area, the advances in the phosphorus functionalization of stable enamines are reviewed. According to the feature of the key transformations, the reactions based on the vinyl C–H functionalization, π‐bond functionalization, the cascade cyclization reaction, and other related reactions are introduced and discussed individually.
